Owner & CEO
Justin grew up as the son of Gary and Rebecca Owen and graduated from Southern Poly in 2001 with a degree in Technology Management. He progressed from sales representative to sales manager in two years, became part owner in 2008 and 100% owner and CEO in 2010, growing Owen from roughly 1,200 clients in 2008 to over 5,000 by 2017.
Founder
A Calhoun High School graduate and Marine Corps veteran, Gary sold his first alarm system in 1973 as Owen Detectron. More than 50 years later he is still involved with the company and visits the office daily.
Commercial Project Manager
Zack has served Owen for 15 years, starting as a technician. He holds a Level 2 Fire Alarm and Burglary certificate and is certified in DMP access control, Honeywell and DMP security systems, and Siemens fire alarm systems.
Director of Operations
With 12 years at Owen across sales, customer service and leadership, April builds the processes that help the team and the business grow.
Controller
Raised in northwest Georgia, Michelle has held multiple roles at Owen over more than a decade and now serves as Controller.
